In the summer of 2007 two families relocated to Bowling Green, KY with ambitious hopes of what God might bring into existence. God has always worked through relationships and His community to push back the effects of what was broken in that garden so long ago. The message of truth and love which comes to us in our most desperate condition is the message we brought and the message to which we cling. In fact, the longer we live the more we realize it is not us who does the clinging, but God himself. The truth is that our sinful state is far worse than we can imagine, but His demonstration of love on the cross reveals a commitment far more substantive than we ever thought possible. This message is contained in the hymns in this collection. They speak of His extraordinary commitment to be with His people in the “day to day” as well as the seasons we find ourselves “ladened with trouble and burdened with grief”. Life is a journey and a process in which we do not have to fend for ourselves but rather we can cast ourselves on the One who invites us to approach His mercy seat, and does indeed speed us to our rest.

It is our hope that you will enjoy the lyric of the gospel set to these tunes and that your life would be enriched in order that He might be more glorified. -Brian Howard, Pastor
